With all the rain in the recent week or so we've had some major flooding in the area. Take for example the Table Rock Lake. They said that it crested at just over 933 feet. It was also stated that that was the highest it's been since the dam opened in 1958. So they had all 10 flood gates open for several days so the water wouldn't breach the dam. I happened to be in the area and drove by to take a look. Here is a dam photo from when I was there. It was pretty amazing at how much water was rushing out.
