I just wanted to share a tip today on an idea I've had for a while. If you have children that are in elementary school, then you'll know how much artwork they produce and bring home. Some of it really is amazing and I HATE throwing this stuff away. But you know how much space it takes up! So I've gotten into a routine that when they bring a new piece of artwork home, I exchange it for the piece that I have hanging on my wall. Then I photograph the old piece, front and back. Then I file those photos on the computer. My hope is one day to be able to make an album of all their artwork they produce throughout their younger days. It cleans up space in my file cabinet and still lets me keep a piece of their work!
