Here are some great Fun Facts about Jones Photography and what we’ve done this last year!
I took this weekend to head out in the rain to do a little target shooting. I had quite a fun time and have since realized that not everyone is able to head out and shoot their .22’s as much as they want since it has been so hard to find ammunition on the store shelves. So, I’ve decided to dip into my personal ammo can and bring out a box of 225 22 Golden Bullets and give them away. I wish I could share more but I’m lucky enough I can share these. I can only hope they go to a good home. Someone who wants to teach their kids gun safety or those who love to shoot cans with their kids on the weekends or maybe to someone who needs to get rid of too many squirrels on their farm.
So, if you are selected and are local, you can pick them up, if you are not local, I can find out how to ship them to you.
What’s the catch? Not much of one. Like our FanPage on Facebook HERE, Like the image and share it. Hopefully we get the word out and we can make these reach someone who needs them.
I will draw a random name from the list of those who shared the image and liked my page on May 1st 2013 and will notify the selected individual. Please check your local laws before entering.
Remember, this is not a contest. Just trying to share and help others out.

Our attitudes play an important role in our day to day mood and well being. It all depends on how we want to look at the world and view it that day. Me, I love when it’s warm, but I love when it’s rainy. Yesterday was hot and windy. It made for an interesting session, but one that had a definite uniqueness to it. With younger children you can only photograph as long as they will allow you. You have to work quickly, be happy and just go with the flow. This is one of my favorites from yesterday.
What makes up a portrait. Well for one, there needs to be someone in the photo. You. You make a portrait so special. Without you, it would just be a photo of a background, a place outdoors, or the grass or rocks around. You give a portrait life, you make it important. You make a portrait an heirloom. Something your family will treasure for generations. You give the portrait a meaning to exist. Without you, there is no purpose of a portrait.
What do I specialize in. Portraits of you. 417-894-0230

Spring break has come and gone. On it’s way out, it left a little reminder that things are not always for sure. One week ago today the kids were outside in their swim trunks playing in the sprinkler. Today they were bundled up in their coats with a fresh layer of snow on the ground. While they head back to school I sit here thinking about my family. They are so dear to me and I wanted to share some reasons why:
1. They bring the best out in me. Kids especially need help in just about every area imaginable. They need love, guidance, discipline, patience and a general being there for them. It allows me to really dig deep within to find out what kind of person I am.
2. They are so forgiving. I’m not a perfect person. I’m far from it. I get upset, I do things wrong, and sometimes say the wrong things at the wrong times. But notwithstanding, they still love me and give me hugs at night.
3. Their smiles and laughs melt me inside. To hear them upstairs, or in the other room playing and laughing together just makes you happy inside. When your family is happy, you are happy.
4. They teach me. I am being taught every day by my family. From things I’ve forgotten about school, to being nice to others. Not a day goes by without a lesson in life.
5. They are individuals. No matter what I try to teach or share with my kids, they are their own person. They are not me, they are not their mother. They are themselves 100% through and through. I would never change that for anything. They are each unique in their own way and they all have their strengths, weaknesses, likes and dislikes just like me. It definitely makes for some awesome times.
So, if you are thinking about the reasons you love your family like I am now. Be sure to let them know how much you love and care for them. Give them hugs, do something special for them. Don’t let a day go by without expressing to them your feelings toward them.
Today is the day that the most dedicated shoppers are waiting for! Black Friday. Most of those dedicated shoppers aren’t reading this right now because they are either out shopping, or are home asleep after their early mornings in the trenches. This year my wife went out early and only shopped at one store, then I in turn at 7am went out and was able to secure everything I needed/wanted!
So today I’m offering a Black Friday special that lasts until Sunday night at midnight for all the sports enthusiasts. I’m offering an 11×14 sports collage of your favorite athlete (you must be their parent) for 70% 0ff!!! That makes our normally priced $250 collage only $75. Take a look at the sample below!
